Tate are delighted to be partnering with a long-standing client in their search for a Finance Administrator to join their growing business. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established business that is a true leader in its field.
Location: Welwyn Garden City (Office-based for the first 6 months, then hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days WFH), working Monday to Friday.
Salary: £27,000-£28,000 (depending on experience)

The Role
As a Finance Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the maintenance team. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help ensure the smooth and cost-effective delivery of on-site services.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage the department's purchase order system
Issue PO numbers to team members, suppliers and sub-contractors
Monitor forecast values for accurate monthly profit predictions
Provide financial updates to the Head of Maintenance
Log and track all works and call-outs
Process and verify invoices from suppliers and sub-contractors
Ensure timely invoice entry and payment via Sage
Raise and send customer invoices, including necessary documentation
Resolve invoice queries and raise credits where needed
Maintain accurate records and perform system housekeeping
Additional Duties
Support wider finance admin tasks as needed
Handle incoming post and assist with overflow phone calls
Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks as directed
What Can You Bring to This role?
Previous experience in a finance or administrative role
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proficiency with Sage (or similar finance software)
A proactive, detail-oriented approach
