Painter & Decorator - Social Housing Repairs, Maintenance & Voids

About the RoleWe're looking for a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across social housing properties. You'll carry out responsive and planned work in both occupied and void homes, including: - Glossing, emulsion, papering - Treating damp and mould - Ensuring effective preparation and perfect finishes - Providing excellent customer service at all times. Multi-skilled experience in plastering or tiling would be a strong advantage. You'll use a handheld device to receive and complete tasks (full training provided), working safely and efficiently to deliver a great customer experience.

About YouWe're looking for someone who is: - Customer-focused and reliable - Experience of working in occupied and void properties - Skilled in damp treatment techniques - Able to work independently and as part of a team - Comfortable working in all weather conditions - Punctual and dependable

Essential Requirements- Full UK Driving Licence (held for at least 12 months) - Minimum age: 21 (for insurance purposes) - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions - Proficient with hand tools - Good health & safety awareness

Qualifications (any of the following):- City & Guilds in Painting and Decorating (7907 or 6707 - Level 2 or 3) - NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating - CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card (or working towards) - PASMA and/or IPAF certification (preferred)
