Job Role:
Working for a regional Plant and Tool Hire Hire company, you will be working as a Plant and Tool Fitter / Service Engineer – based in Hertfordshire. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Mechanical Diesel Plant and Petrol and Electrical Tools. The salary for this position is 32 - 35k, plus benefits. We are looking for someone who is familiar with working on Construction Equipment, with previous experience working within the Hire Industry. The position is permanent full time Monday - Friday.Key Responsibilities:As a Plant and Tool Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Your Job Role Would Include:
- PDI’s, Servicing & Repairing Plant Hire Equipment
- Fit Accessories as Required
- Work Well Under Pressure
- Complete Administration Tasks including Service & Repair Records Accurately
- Present a Professional and Positive Attitude when working on Customer Sites
- Maintain Health & Safety To HSE & Company Standards
Skills:The Ideal Candidate for the Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Role Will Have:
- Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Mobile Service Engineer, Tool Fitter
- You Will Need Previous Experience within Tool Hire / Plant Hire / Agricultural and Construction Equipment Industry
- Analytical Approach To Problem Solving
- Able to Work Without Instruction
- Own Tool Kit
- Basic IT Skills
- Good Communication Skills, both Verbal & Written
- Clean Current Driving License
