Role: Contract Study ManagerLocation: Hybrid - Welwyn (UK) (2 days per week on site, flexibility available for the right contractor)Hours: Full-time, 6-month contractPay: £339.27 - £376.97 per day (PAYE) OR £450.00 - £500.00 per day (UMB) - Inside IR35

The Requirements:
- University degree (Life Sciences preferred) or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a Study Manager (or equivalent) within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of drug development processes, ICH and GCP guidelines
- Resilient and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
The Role:
- Deliver study execution by providing operational expertise into protocol design, feasibility and country selection
- Ensure study quality by developing and maintaining study systems and documentation (e.g. informed consent forms, monitoring plans, Trial Master File)
- Provide country oversight and support feasibility assessments to ensure site selection and study start-up
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure third parties deliver against scope, quality and compliance standards
- Oversee forecasting and maintenance of study supplies (including IMP)
- Identify, manage and mitigate study-related risks
- Contribute to operational excellence by embedding innovative approaches and continuous improvement
