Are you an experienced and proactive Repairs Supervisor with a background in property maintenance? We are looking for a dedicated leader to join our established team in the Welwyn Hertfordshire area. This is a great opportunity to drive high standards and ensure excellent customer service within a social housing environment.
Salary: Up to 44,000 + van, fuel card, and benefits

What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills:
- Previous Supervisory Experience: You must have prior experience supervising a team in a domestic or social housing environment.
- Trade Background: A strong background as a tradesperson, ideally with multi-trade skills (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, plastering).
- Operational Leadership: The ability to lead a team of reactive maintenance operatives, allocate work daily, and conduct toolbox talks.
- Project Coordination: Experience attending pre-inspection works, advising on job specifics, and ensuring multi-trade jobs are scheduled efficiently.
- Communication: Strong ability to liaise with managers and clients to ensure satisfaction and respond effectively to variation requests.
- Compliance: A solid understanding and enforcement of health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualifications, NVQ2, SSSTS
- A full UK driving license.
- Proven experience in property services, either as a tradesperson or a supervisor, specifically in reactive repairs.
