We are currently looking for a Automation Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Hertfordshire. As the Automation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of automation systems within a production environment.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Automation Technician will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As an Automation Technician, you will provide support for automation systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

2. As an Automation Technician, you will conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of control and instrumentation equipment.

3. As an Automation Technician, you will collaborate with the production team to optimise automation processes.

4. As an Automation Technician, you will assist in the implementation of new automation projects and upgrades.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Automation Technician, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related field such as Electrical Engineering, Automation, or similar.

2. Proven industry experience in a pharmaceutical or similar production environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with control and instrumentation systems, such as Siemens, DeltaV or similar production-related control systems/automation.
