Our client, a healthcare charity based in Stevenage, is currently seeking a dynamic Head of Fundraising (F/T and P/T applications considered – Hybrid Working) to join their team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a new fundraising strategy, leading and mentoring a small but ambitious team, and building relationships that turn ideas into tangible, fundable opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and deliver a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned to the charity’s goals.
  • Identify, develop and lead new funding opportunities and income-generating initiatives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with major donors, corporates and key supporters.
  • Lead creative campaigns and events that raise both income and awareness.

About you:

  • A proven track record of achieving or exceeding income targets across multiple fundraising streams.
  • Strategic insight and creative flair, with the ability to turn ideas into action.
  • Experience managing or mentoring colleagues and building high-performing teams.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach — happy to lead, deliver and get involved at every level.
