We are seeking a committed and adaptable Teaching Assistant to enrich the learning experience in one of our supportive primary classes. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with class teachers and lead small-group interventions, supporting pupils across a range of abilities including those with additional learning or emotional needs.

Role: Teaching Assistant (Part-time, Permanent)

Start date: ASAP
Salary (FTE): £24,796 - £25,583 (pro rata)

Location: Rickmansworth

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Support pupils in class, in small groups, and on a one-to-one basis
  • Help prepare and deliver engaging learning materials and scaffolding
  • Assist in monitoring and encouraging classroom behaviour and promoting positive attitudes to learning
  • Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN, EAL or other learning barriers
  • Collaborate in the planning process and feedback on pupil progress
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school
