Our client is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and deliver large infrastructure schemes across the UK.
The Role:
- Design of civil engineering schemes associated with large developments throughout the UK
- Client management including attendance at client and design team meetings
- Recognised point of contact for clients on projects
- Managing junior staff delivering infrastructure schemes
- Mentoring junior staff and supporting their training and development
- Input into financial control of projects, contributing to fee proposals and invoicing
Job Requirements:
- Competent user of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTrack and (ideally but not essential) MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow
- Experience of highway/drainage design associated with S278, S38, S104 agreements
- Good communication and people skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience of working with developers/contractors
