Academics is currently recruiting for Primary Cover Teachers to support a growing number of schools across Bushey and surrounding areas.
Position: Primary Cover Teacher
Location: Bushey
Pay: £100 to £160 per day
We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Teachers to provide day-to-day, short-term, and long-term cover across EYFS to KS2. This is a great opportunity for those who want to enjoy the variety of teaching in different settings without the full-time commitment of a permanent role.
As a Cover Teacher, you will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensure pupils remain on task, and uphold school policies during your assignments.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who hold a formal teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS, or another relevant UK recognised qualification.
We welcome both experienced teachers and ECTs who are confident delivering lessons across the primary curriculum. With demand at an all-time high, we can offer between one to five days of work per week, depending on your availability.

To be considered for this role, you must have excellent knowledge of the UK primary curriculum, strong classroom management skills, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning.
