The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspiring Maths Teacher to join our team from January 2026 on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5), delivering engaging and challenging lessons that encourage students to develop strong problem‑solving skills and a deep understanding of mathematics.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering high quality, differentiated lessons to students of varying abilities.

  • Assessing, tracking and reporting on student progress; using assessment data to inform your teaching.

  • Collaborating with the Maths department to ensure coherence of curriculum, consistency of standards, and best practice.

  • Contributing to the broader school community through extra‑curricular activities, departmental initiatives, and supporting students’ mathematical confidence and progress.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent,

  • Has proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level in a UK school

  • Is committed to raising achievement, confident in using a variety of teaching strategies to engage students.

  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Is reflective, open to feedback, and committed to continuous professional development.
