Looking to make a direct impact in tackling homelessness and provide essential advice to those in need?
A local authority in the Northern Home Counties is looking for two Housing Options Officers to deliver direct support to people facing housing related barriers. - Issue Section 184 decisions within the required timescales
- Manage a varied caseload, including complex cases, in line with statutory duties
- Hybrid working
- Home connections knowledge is ideal but not essential
What you'll need:
- Solid experience in Housing Options, working directly with singles and/or families
- Deep understanding of homelessness legislation
- Capable of delivering front-line housing advice
- Ability to handle complex caseloads
Interviews will be taking place next week. This is a great opportunity to take on a frontline role where you'll directly support households in need, reduce homelessness, and contribute to positive community outcomes.
