Proven SENCO experience within a school setting
NASENCO qualification (essential)
Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and current legislation
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to inspire and support colleagues in delivering high-quality SEN provision
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate provision for pupils with special educational needs
Lead on the development and implementation of SEN policies and practices
Manage EHCP processes and liaise with external professionals
Support teachers in differentiating and adapting learning for diverse needs
Monitor progress and ensure effective interventions are in place
