Maintenance Engineer

Location - Hertfordshire

Shift 4 on 4 off 2 days 2 nights

Salary - 51,750 per annum

Are you an Engineering Technician looking for a new role?

You'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment through a combination of planned preventative maintenance and rapid breakdown response.

Working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in improving reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out PPMs on mechanical and electrical systems
Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production impact
Fault-find and perform root cause analysis on complex machinery
Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Work safely at all times in line with company and H&S standards

Skills & Experience

Qualified in Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3, HNC, Apprenticeship, or equivalent)
Experience in a manufacturing or food environment
Strong multi-skilled background (mechanical, electrical, controls)
Knowledge of PPMs, fault diagnostics, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and drives
Proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset
