Role: Multi-Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer (Days with flexible start / finish times)

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: c. 50,000 + bens

Our client is a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Hertfordshire and they are looking for a multi-skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding Engineering team. The successful candidate will work as part of a team that has responsibility for a range of facilities and building services on a busy manufacturing facility.

The main purpose of the role is to plan and undertake routine scheduled maintenance of plant and equipment, liaising with departmental managers to cause minimal disruption to production, manufacturing and general office and estate facilities. Suitable candidates will ideally have experience with the following:

  • AHU's, FCU's (HVAC), chilled water systems, domestic hot water and water treatment
  • Interpreting technical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals relating to a wide range of facility and building services
  • Motor controls and relay logic
  • Experience of CMMS and BMS systems.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (eg Pharmaceutical, Food, Chemical)

To be successful in this role applicants have served either a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship and if electrically biased should have 18th edition wiring regulations or C&G 2391. In addition, a HND or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline is highly desirable.
