Qualifications / Experience
Experience in a comparative role with a minimum of 3 years experience
Strong understanding of COSHH
Strong understanding of principles of HACCP
Experience in high-quality, high volume environment
Experience managing and maintaining health and hygiene practices
Diplomas and certificates in the culinary arts desired but not essential
Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability
Oral and written fluency in English
A passion to be creative and develop themselves
Right to work and reside in the UK a must
To maintaining the standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping within the production kitchen
To order and maintain par levels of ingredients whilst maintain budgets
In the absence of the Head Chef, Rota and schedule chefs accordingly to ensure continuity of service
Ability to train and develop junior chefs
Work alongside the Head Chef and Bakery Director to develop new seasonal dishes with the emphasis to remain on brand
Maintain cleanliness across production kitchens
Maintain stock levels, stock rotation and highlight ordering where necessary
Keep all HACCP documents up to date across all sections
