Job Title: Permanent Site-Based Project Manager
Salary: £65,000-£80,000 (all-inclusive) & Company Benefits
Location: Greater London
Company Overview: My client are a leading construction firm specializing in high-end residential projects. They work on projects UK wide across numerous sectors.
Role Overview: The client are looking to appoint a Site Based Project Manager to work on a £25M new build project which will be on site for around 20 months, Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, they will lead site operations from project inception to completion, ensuring all aspects of the build and fit-out process are managed effectively and delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Team Management: Lead the on-site team, including Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager, and trades, to maintain smooth operations.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Build strong relationships with clients, design teams, councils, and residents to foster collaboration and transparency.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve site challenges promptly and efficiently.
- Contract Management: Oversee and ensure compliance with site contracts.
- Liaison & Communication: Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, including senior management and external parties.
Requirements:
- Experience in both new build and fit-out projects.
- Ability to oversee a project valued around £20M
- Proven track record of managing large-scale residential developments.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- SMSTS and CSCS Card are desirable
- Based in or local to Greater London
