About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Asbestos & Health and Safety Manager to join our team in North West London on a hybrid working basis. This is a key role responsible for ensuring compliance with asbestos regulations and leading health and safety management across a diverse property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the lead subject matter expert for asbestos management and health & safety compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, including Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Health & Safety at Work Act
  • Oversee asbestos surveys, risk assessments, management plans, and remediation works
  • Manage and monitor appointed asbestos consultants and contractors
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to internal stakeholders, contractors, and senior management
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions
  • Develop, review, and update health and safety policies, procedures, and systems
  • Carry out audits, inspections, and performance monitoring
  • Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience in asbestos management and health & safety within housing, property, or construction environments
  • Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety and asbestos legislation
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, BOHS, IOSH, or equivalent)
  • Experience managing external consultants and contractors
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid role
