Location - Barnet, North-west London

Pay Rate - £95 - £115 per day, depending on experience (PAYE)

Start Date - September 2025.

We are currently working in partnership with a well-regarded Primary and soon to be, Secondary SEND school in Barnet, which provides tailored education and care to pupils with Autism. The school is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025.

The Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils with Autism both one-to-one and in small groups, helping them access learning in a way that suits their needs. You'll encourage independence, build confidence, and support social and communication skills. Working closely with teachers and therapists, you'll help create a calm, structured and inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience supporting pupils with Autism or within a specialist SEND provision.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for working within a SEND environment.
  • Availability to work full-time from September 2025.
