SANZA Teaching Agency (part of Tradewind Recruitment) is supporting a popular three-form entry school in Brent, rated Good by Ofsted, in their search for a part-time Year 1 teacher to join the team from September 2025. This is a Wednesday to Friday teaching role, ideal for someone seeking work-life balance without compromising on professional impact.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging Year 1 lessons based on the national curriculum.

• Contribute to planning and formative assessment with the KS1 team.

• Foster a nurturing environment that supports early literacy and numeracy development.

• Use phonics (Read Write Inc or similar) confidently as part of daily practice.

• Partner with parents and carers to support individual pupil progress.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS and has experience teaching in Key Stage 1.

• Confident managing transitions from EYFS to formal learning.

• Knowledgeable about age-appropriate assessment practices.

• Positive, reflective, and collaborative in nature.

• Open to ECTs who can demonstrate strong placement experience in Year 1.
