About the Role:

Deliver engaging Year 1 lessons based on the national curriculum.
Contribute to planning and formative assessment with the KS1 team.

Use phonics (Read Write Inc or similar) confidently as part of daily practice.
Partner with parents and carers to support individual pupil progress.

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds QTS and has experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
Confident managing transitions from EYFS to formal learning.
Knowledgeable about age-appropriate assessment practices.
Positive, reflective, and collaborative in nature.
Open to ECTs who can demonstrate strong placement experience in Year 1.
