About the Role:As a Science Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the Science Department to deliver engaging and practical science lessons. You'll ensure all labs are prepared with the necessary equipment and materials, maintain a safe working environment, and support both teachers and students during practical experiments.
Key Responsibilities:-
Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for lessons.

Assist in demonstrations and practical activities across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Maintain and clean equipment and laboratories in line with health and safety protocols.

Manage stock levels and order supplies when needed.

Ensure safe storage and disposal of chemicals and biological specimens.

Support teachers and pupils during practical lessons as required.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory or educational environment is desirable.

Science qualifications at A-level or equivalent; a degree in a science subject is advantageous.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Understanding of health and safety regulations in a lab setting.

A commitment to supporting young people's education and development.
