Role Overview
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of retrofit social housing refurbishment projects. Your role will involve managing on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.

The Site Manager will be responsible for managing all site paperwork, ensuring day-to-day quality control, and maintaining accurate records of progress, safety compliance, and variations throughout the project.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure efficient workflow and quality workmanship.

Monitor and manage site resources, including materials and equipment, to ensure availability and proper utilisation.

Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures.

Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, material requisitions, and health and safety documentation.

Collaborate with the project team to prepare and update project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
Essential Criteria

Proven experience in managing retrofit social housing refurbishment projects.

Strong knowledge of energy efficiency standards and regulations applicable to social housing.
