About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring a productive and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers

Deliver pre-set work to students, ensuring they remain on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support students in understanding lesson content where appropriate

Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour

Assist with administrative and classroom support tasks when not covering lessons

We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with young people in an educational or youth work setting (preferred)

Is confident in managing behaviour and leading a classroom independently

Demonstrates flexibility, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills

Has a good standard of education (minimum GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths)

Is committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all students
