Are you a confident, resilient, and compassionate professional with a passion for working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Are you looking to step into a meaningful teaching role-with the potential to gain QTS in the future?

SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a high-performing and inclusive primary school in Brent to recruit an Unqualified SEND Teacher for a long-term role starting in September 2025 until the end of the academic year.

This large, welcoming school has recently opened a dedicated SEND base and is now seeking a talented, proactive individual who can lead a small group or class of pupils with complex learning needs. You will be supported by experienced SEND leaders, access tailored CPD, and be part of a nurturing team that puts inclusion and child-centred practice at the heart of everything they do.



About the Role:

  • Full-time, term-time role starting September 2025

  • Lead and deliver learning to a small group of pupils with SEND (EHCPs in place)

  • Create a safe, structured and engaging environment for children with ASD, SEMH and/or MLD

  • Work closely with SENDCo and support staff to plan and adapt activities

  • Opportunity to progress towards QTS via school-based pathways



The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children with SEND in a school or specialist setting

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage behaviour calmly and confidently

  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a long-term impact

  • The initiative to lead learning and support pupils in a flexible, caring way

  • The potential and desire to train as a qualified teacher in future
