This is a vital role and requires an experienced Purchasing Assistant, you will be working for a very successful, local organisation where you will be required to ensure the right materials arrive at the right destination at the right time

Some of your duties will include:

Assisting with the purchasing function and developing successful relationships with suppliers
Liaising with suppliers, placing purchase orders and updating computer system with new stock deliveries
Sourcing new suppliers when needed and agreeing terms and conditions of business
Maintaining accurate computerised stock records and recording details of stock movement
Carrying out random stock audits, checking quality of product and verifying quantity held
Maintaining computerised database holding product details and cost/retail prices
