Bar Manager

Were seeking an experienced and ambitiousBar Managerto take ownership of bar operations at a leading gastropub. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven hospitality professional to step into a senior role within a high-quality, high-volume environment.

As Bar Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring exceptional service and smooth operations. Youll be responsible for stock management, GP control, compliance, and training, while also bringing creativity to the drinks offering. Working closely with senior management, youll lead from the front, driving sales and developing a motivated, high-performing team.

• Lead the daily operation of the bar with efficiency and professionalism.

• Develop and deliver innovative drinks menus, including cocktails, wines, and beers.

• Manage stock levels, ordering, and GP targets effectively.

• Recruit, train, and inspire a skilled and motivated bar team.

• Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards.

• Support events and activations to enhance guest experience and revenue.

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager in a quality bar, pub, or restaurant environment.

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and beers.

• A natural leader with excellent communication and team-building skills.

• Commercially minded with a track record in stock and financial control.
