Are you a dynamic Geography Teacher who loves exploring the world with young people? We're actively seeking a fantastic temporary, part-time teacher to join our Outstanding mixed school in Brent, starting this June. This is a brilliant opportunity to share your passion for the Earth's physical and human landscapes and help shape young minds in a vibrant and supportive learning environment in West London.
What you'll be doing:
- You'll be designing and delivering engaging Geography lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, covering topics from global issues to local environments.
- It's all about expertly guiding students through geographical concepts, using maps and data, and fostering an understanding of our planet's complexities.
- You'll cultivate a dynamic and interactive classroom where students feel empowered to investigate, analyse, and appreciate the interconnectedness of places.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a solid specialism in Geography.
- Ideally, you'll have some experience teaching engaging and effective Geography lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A deep and current understanding of geographical concepts and global issues, plus that ability to make the subject relevant and exciting.
- Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a real ability to inspire a passion for the world.
