A dedicated and knowledgeable RE Teacher is required for a permanent full-time position at an Outstanding girls' school in Brent, commencing in September. Responsibilities
- You will deliver engaging and effective Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a passion for the subject and developing students' critical thinking and analytical skills.
- The role involves contributing to the positive learning environment within the department and supporting the students in achieving their full potential.
- You will cultivate a reflective and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore their own beliefs and engage in thoughtful discussions.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong specialism in Religious Education or Theology is essential.
- Experience teaching engaging and effective RE lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
- A broad and current understanding of different religious traditions and ethical frameworks is expected.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to facilitate sensitive discussions, are vital.
