Role Requirements:
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, supporting managing a team of 15 chefs- producing over 500 units per day.
A chef who is excellent with training, logistics, and improving operational processes but isn't necessarily wanting creative menu control.
Supporting with the hands on food production/preparationin the kitchen.
Supporting the Head of production with managing the team to include the chefs and drivers and coordinating food orders
Supporting the Head of production with ensuring health and safetycompliance in all areas of temperatures, equipment allergens, food quality, storing food safely, ensuring the team are following all food safety company guidelines.
Supporting the head of production with food orders , updating recipes from the head chef , preparing work lists and allocating task ensuring, correct portioning cooking and serving standards, costings, ordering, rotas, weekly and monthly checklist, equipment checking and cleaning.
About you
Personable presentable with a positive can do attitude with previous experience as a kitchen manager in a quality driven food environment essential .
Proven skill in managing and supporting kitchen staff in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, fostering teamwork, respect, and operational efficiency.
Genuine interest in healthy food and sustainability.
Professional chef training with excellent references. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Shifts may differ between;
Monday to Friday Daytimes
6am - 3pm
9am - 6pm
One half day Sunday a month (usually 8 - 1pm) and in that week they will go home after service on Friday - at 10am or even have the Friday off depending on the workload.
