Learning Support Assistant

Location: Wembley
Hours: 8:30am – 3:45pm
Pay: £90–£110 per day

We are working in partnership with a secondary school in Wembley to recruit a dedicated and adaptable Learning Support Assistant to support students with a range of learning needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

This role involves working across both the school’s SEN provision and mainstream classrooms, supporting pupils as they transition between settings based on their individual progress and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored academic, social, and emotional support to students with SEN and EHCPs

  • Support the delivery of personalised learning interventions

  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning

  • Assist in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

  • Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals

  • Support pupils as they move between SEN provision and mainstream lessons

  • Patient, proactive, and flexible in approach

  • Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential

  • Confident supporting a range of learning needs

  • Previous experience in a school or SEN setting is desirable
