SEN Teaching Assistant

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students succeed both academically and emotionally. Your role will include:

• Providing tailored support to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom

• Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs and external professionals

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs to help them regulate emotions and stay engaged in learning

• Building positive relationships and offering consistent, empathetic support

• Helping to create a safe, structured and encouraging learning environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly SEMH or behaviour needs

• Is calm, patient, and reliable, with excellent communication skills

• Can work effectively as part of a team and show initiative when needed

• Is committed to helping every child achieve their potential
