About the school: A small, supportive pupil referral unit providing education for students aged 5-18 who cannot attend mainstream schools. The college offers personalised learning, strong pastoral care, and a focus on reintegration and achievement.

About the role: You will work closely with teachers to support SEN students, provide one-to-one and small group interventions, and assist with lesson delivery. A trauma-informed approach and understanding of psychological needs are essential to help learners overcome barriers to education.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:

  • Provide targeted support to SEN learners across age groups
  • Use trauma-informed strategies to build resilience and engagement
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Offer one-to-one tutoring and small group interventions
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Contribute to the wider school community and safeguarding practices

Requirements - The ideal candidate would have:

  • Extensive experience supporting SEN students
  • Tutoring experience or SEN-specific qualifications
