SEN Teacher

Are you a passionate and resilient SEN Teacher looking for your next opportunity? A fantastic SEN school in Kingsbury is seeking a dedicated SEN teacher to join their team.
This role involves teaching a small KS2/3 class of pupils with ASD and associated challenging behaviour. The school prides itself on providing a supportive, nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.
SEN Teacher Role:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with ASD.
Create a safe, structured, and stimulating classroom environment.
Use positive behaviour management strategies to support students effectively.
Work closely with a strong team of SEN support staff, therapists, and parents.
Track progress and contribute to individual learning plans (EHCPs).
The Ideal SEN Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with experience in SEN teaching.
Strong knowledge of ASD and strategies for supporting students with complex needs.
Skilled in managing challenging behaviour with a calm, proactive approach.
Flexible, creative, and able to adapt quickly to meet student needs.
Committed to promoting inclusion and high expectations for all learners.
