Speech and Language Therapist (Part Time, SEN School)
Location: Brent
School type: SEN school, ages 7-16

Remedy Education is proud to be working with a new SEN school in Brent to appoint an experienced Speech and Language Therapist. This is a part-time role within a small, supportive team where you'll have the chance to make a real difference.

The school supports pupils aged 7-16 who are all verbal, largely independent, and diagnosed with autism. Some pupils may present with behavioural needs, but small class sizes allow for a highly individualised and focused approach. As the school is in its early stages of development, this is a unique opportunity to help shape its provision from the ground up.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering tailored speech and language programmes.

  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to embed communication strategies across the school day.

  • Monitoring progress and providing feedback for staff, parents, and other professionals.

  • Offering guidance and training to colleagues to ensure strategies are consistent and effective.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.

  • Has experience supporting children and young people with autism.

  • Can demonstrate strong clinical reasoning and the ability to set measurable goals.

  • Is empathetic, resilient, and confident in supporting pupils with additional needs.

  • Wants to contribute to a new and developing school community.
