Are you a Qualified Teacher who has experience working as a Food Technology Teacher or a Teacher looking for a change and interested in learning food technology? If so, this School are currently looking to recruit an experienced Teacher to work in their vibrant Design and Technology department this September.  The School has a Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form therefore there is plenty of room for growth and development within the School and your role. 

The Role

Within this role, you will:

  1. lead a team of classroom support staff and any students or voluntary helpers assigned to the class, at school and/or off-site whilst on visits/trips.
  2. Teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 if applicable
  3. Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that promote healthy lifestyles, culinary skills, and food science knowledge
  4. Monitor student progress and adapt lessons to suit a range of learning needs and abilities
  5. Contribute to curriculum development and department enrichment activities
  6. Promote high standards of food hygiene, safety, and practical work in the classroom
