Supplier Quality Engineer responsibilities include -
- Act as liaison with the supply base, addressing concerns and supporting development.
- Manage and review supplier PPAP submissions for compliance.
- Support APQP tracking and New Product Introduction activities.
- Conduct supplier audits (UK and abroad) and maintain approvals.
- Lead or support 8D investigations and ensure timely resolutions.
- Provide supplier performance reports and drive improvement initiatives.
Supplier Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -
- Background in a similar role - Supplier Quality, STA, or Technical Engineering.
- Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
- Competent in tools such as APQP, PPAP, 8D, and supplier auditing.
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport, with willingness to travel (minimal).
