Role: Brake Press Operator
Location: West Brom
Shift time: 6:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 – Monday to Friday - Weekly rotating
Pay Rate: £14.64 - £15.25 Per hour
Our worldwide client currently has an opportunity for a Brake Press Setter/Operator to join their ever-expanding site in West Bromwich. This will include a rotating morning and afternoon shift. As a Brake Press Operator, your main objective will include operating Amada and Trumpf Brake presses to fold precision metal products.
Your main duties will include:
- Set and Operate Amada Brake press
- Send and Operate Trumpf Brake Press
- Bending various sizes & thickness of sheet metal
- Visual and physical inspection of work
- Ensure work is accurate to specification
- Measure each job using Vernier’s
- Read from engineering drawings
- Packing away products
Candidate Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have experience of operating Amada/Trumpf Brake Press
- Be able to read from engineering drawings
- Have experience of forming various sizes & thickness of blanks
- Able to form complex shapes
