CNC Operator & Programmer

Temp to Perm

We are recruiting for an experienced CNCProgrammer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong CNC routing/milling knowledge and the ability to program and optimise machining strategies to meet quality and production targets.

Hours & Contract

  • 41 hours per week, Monday to Friday

  • Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to meet production targets

  • Program and modify CNC machining strategies (Xilog / Maestro)

  • Select, set, and monitor tooling and tool life

  • Use measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers)

  • Maintain cutting schedules, machine housekeeping, and basic maintenance

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Train new CNC operators when required

  • Work independently or as part of a team

  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures

Skills & Experience

  • Essential CNC programming experience (Xilog / Maestro)

  • Parametric programming knowledge desirable

  • Experience in timber, door manufacturing, or engineering environments beneficial

  • Ability to read technical drawings and worksheets

  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
