Job Title - CAD Designer

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Designer to join the team of a leading manufacturing company based in West Bromwich. Trainees with relevant qualifications and skills will be considered for the position.

The main duties include:

  • Creating production-ready designs of the company's full range of products using their suite of design software
  • Preparing drawing/document packs
  • Preparing drawing registers and issue sheets to accompany designs
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Supporting Estimating, Customer Service & Manufacturing Teams in managing the flow of information through the business

Requirements

  • Technical design related qualification and/ or experience.
  • Experience working within a fast paced environment desirable (ideally manufacturing).
  • Good knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent telephone manner / good communication skills
