What you'll be doing:

  • Spearheading plant modification and process development projects
  • Leading hazard assessments, HAZOPs, and safety evaluations (DSEAR, SIL, LOPA)
  • Collaborating with R&D, production, and engineering teams to bring new products to life
  • Overseeing relief system sizing and implementing DIERS methodology
  • Mentoring junior chemical engineers and acting as a key technical authority on-site

What we're looking for:

  • Degree-qualified Chemical Engineer with 5+ years' industrial experience
  • Strong working knowledge of COMAH regulations
  • Solid practical experience in commissioning, scale-up and plant optimisation
  • Exposure to DSEAR, LOPA, SIL, and relief system design
  • A natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-moving, technically demanding environment
