What you'll be doing:
- Spearheading plant modification and process development projects
- Leading hazard assessments, HAZOPs, and safety evaluations (DSEAR, SIL, LOPA)
- Collaborating with R&D, production, and engineering teams to bring new products to life
- Overseeing relief system sizing and implementing DIERS methodology
- Mentoring junior chemical engineers and acting as a key technical authority on-site
What we're looking for:
- Degree-qualified Chemical Engineer with 5+ years' industrial experience
- Strong working knowledge of COMAH regulations
- Solid practical experience in commissioning, scale-up and plant optimisation
- Exposure to DSEAR, LOPA, SIL, and relief system design
- A natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-moving, technically demanding environment
