Location: Sandwell, West Bromwich – based on site.
Salary: Circa £30,000

Reports to: Senior Executive Assistant and Office Manager
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and professional central team, helping to drive operational efficiency across senior leadership functions.
Purpose of the Role
To provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Executive Team. The Executive Assistant will ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), including diary management, meeting coordination, document preparation, and stakeholder liaison.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive executive support to the Executive Team, including confidential secretarial, clerical, and administrative duties.
- Manage and coordinate diaries, meetings, and event planning in collaboration with internal departments.
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling queries independently where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships on behalf of the Executive Team.
- Prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, track actions, and distribute materials for meetings and committees.
- Organise room bookings, hospitality arrangements, and office supplies.
- Draft and produce high-quality reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Provide support and occasional cover for the Senior Executive Assistant.
- Handle general office functions including procurement, invoice processing, and administrative support.
- Coordinate high-profile internal and external events alongside the Marketing function.
- Uphold organisational values in relation to safeguarding, health and safety, equality, and inclusion.
- Support whole-organisation activities such as enrolment, open days, and strategic planning.
- Stay informed on sector developments relevant to the post.
- Ensure a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Promote a collaborative ‘One Team’ culture across the organisation.
- Provide a professional and courteous experience for all visitors, students, staff, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Executive Office to deliver consistent and effective management support.
- Maintain effective electronic and paper-based record systems, driving digital efficiency.
- Prioritise and manage workloads, contributing to the continuous improvement of office operations.
- Identify and report risks in line with organisational risk management policies.
