You would be a pivotal cog to keep production moving, downtime low, and standards high in a large-scalefmcg manufacturing environment. This is a shift-based role (days and nights) where you’ll be knee-deep in automation, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting, while pushing for improvements that actually make a difference.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Fault-finding and fixing automation, electrical, and mechanical issues mid-shift
  • Leading proactive and reactive maintenance (because “wait and see” isn’t the plan)
  • Delivering improvement projects that help drive plant performance
  • Supporting KPIs like OEE and downtime reduction
  • Working safely and making sure everyone else does too
  • Coaching and supporting operators and junior engineers
  • Helping shape a culture of performance, pride, and continuous improvement

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • Time-served apprenticeship, with an electrical bias
  • Good communicator and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable coaching others and being a technical go-to
  • Motivated, solutions-focused, and not afraid to challenge the status quo
