We’re working with a well-established client who is looking to appoint a General Manager to oversee both site and office operations. This is a pivotal role for someone confident in leading teams, managing staffing issues, and making fast, effective decisions on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for the day-to-day operations across the site and office

Act as the primary decision-maker for operational and staffing matters

Manage staff schedules, performance, and any HR-related issues on-site

Ensure smooth coordination between departments and report regularly to senior leadership
-
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and health & safety standards
-
Drive continuous improvement across operational processes
-
Maintain a strong presence both on the ground and in the office
Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in a general management or senior operational role
-
Strong leadership skills with the ability to take decisive action
-
Experience in fast-paced, industrial, waste, or logistics environments preferred
-
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
-
Able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement
