Nursery Room Leader

Preschool room (3-5 years)

We are currently looking for a Room Leader/Manager to join our beautiful children's day nursery and pre-school in West Byfleet.

We are a warm and friendly setting with lots to offer and we value our dedicated and hard working staff and offer ongoing support and training, great opportunities.

The Nursery Room Leader will be joining a welcoming fun team of committed early years staff to head up our preschool room.

Main duties and responsibilities of Room Leader/Manager:

  • Most importantly, to have energy, enthusiasm, empathy, a sense of adventure and fun! :)
  • Lead a team within the preschool implement planning, observations.
  • Create fun opportunities according to children’s needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages)
  • To develop good strong relationships and communication with children parents/carers.
  • Working creatively with children so they develop, learn and grow.
  • Ensuring all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.

Key skills:

  • Hold a relevant Early Years qualification equivalent to Level 3 or above.
  • Experience of working with the EYFS / Early years foundation stage.
  • Experience of working with children in an early learning environment
  • Good communications skills
  • A team player :)
  • Excellent leadership skills.
