Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Multi-Modal Freight Coordiantor for a privately owned nice sector Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.
Duties to include:-
路 Gathering information and providing clients with accurate information
路 Oversee and assist in the preparation of quotations for clients, recording the information on the Company databases and following up to secure business
路 Booking shipments with hauliers, ocean lines and airlines
路 Completing AWB's, bills of lading, customs entries and identification and preparation of all other documentation required for export and re-import
路 Liaising and updating clients, overseas agents, and suppliers as necessary.
路 Supervise and monitor through transit corridor with hauliers, ocean lines, airlines and overseas partners
路 Ensuring correct customs procedures are being used
路 Monitoring of shipments including accurate booking in on internal system
路 Supervise and assist cost accruals and charging of shipments including the sending out of invoice and back up documentation to the relevant party.
Requirements:-
路 Experience in an operational environment (multi modal would be an asset)
路 Able to organise themselves and work independently.
路 Able to manage and organize several tasks simultaneously.
