Milk Education are working in partnership with a SEN school based in West Drayton who are seeking an experienced and motivated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons
* Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational plans for students with a variety of SEN.
* Manage challenging behavior effectively using proven techniques and strategies.
* Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to ensure they engage with the curriculum.
* Foster a positive learning environment that promotes the social and emotional development of students.
* Monitor student progress and contribute to regular assessments and reviews.
* Liaise with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Ideal Candidate:

* Proven experience working in a similar HLTA role.
* Excellent behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual with a passion for helping children with diverse needs.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.
