SEN Early Years Assistant
Job Title: Special Educational Needs Assistant
Location: West Drayton, London
Pay: 110 - 125 daily (D.o.E)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:00 pm, Term-time only
As an Early Years SEND specialist, you will work with children aged 4 to 8 years in a vibrant, creative and welcoming environment. Your role would be to support specific children with special educational needs. This support will consist of working with a variety of children or 1:1 support, encouraging them to participate during unstructured learning times and engaging them in planned learning activities as directed by the class teacher or other relevant staff such as therapists.
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with early years children (aged 4 - 8years) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Strong understanding of Early Years learning practices
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with staff and pupils
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to providing high-quality education
- Good spoken English, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Proven experience of working effectively as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
