We are working with a warm and inclusive SEN school in West Drayton that is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant in this specialist setting, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and sensory or physical needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning and support plans.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum and develop key life skills.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and social interaction through positive relationships and consistent support.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (highly desirable).
  • A compassionate, adaptable, and resilient approach to learning support.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the well-being of all pupils.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are an advantage but not essential.
