Speech and Language Therapist - West Drayton
We are a newly opened, purpose-built SEN primary school in West Drayton, offering high-quality, inclusive education for children aged 4-11 with a range of complex needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and associated learning difficulties.

The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in supporting children with communication needs, working closely with staff, families, and other professionals to deliver impactful interventions and inclusive practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted therapy for pupils with a variety of communication needs
- Conduct assessments, write therapy plans and professional reports, including EHCP input
- Support staff in creating communication-friendly classrooms
- Deliver 1:1, group, and in-class sessions
- Provide training and coaching for teaching and support staff
- Liaise with parents and external professionals to ensure a consistent approach
Essential Requirements
- Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration and RCSLT membership
- Experience with children with Autism and/or complex communication needs
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice and therapeutic approaches
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
- Experience in a school-based or new provision setting
- Familiarity with AAC, PECS, Makaton or TEACCH
- Experience contributing to EHCP reports and reviews
